Spring Line news!

Boardwalk image

Yes, it’s true! We’ve been stitching away in our studio, and we now have some beautiful new designs we’re excited to share with you.

In fact, we’re so excited that we are doing something we’ve never done before: two weeks of preview before the dresses go live on eBay!

The preview starts on March 8th, right here on our blog; and then on March 22, the dresses will all go up for auction (they will be staggered at short intervals, so that they don’t all end at once). Auctions will finish on March 29.

And, to our dear loyal pattern followers: we have not forgotten you! We are hard at work to ensure the patterns will be out on March 29th, the same day auctions close. This is also a new thing for us, but we think it will make “launch day” more fun for everyone. And we might even be able to offer a coupon code….

So stay tuned! We will be offering little sneak peeks for you, our blog followers, over the next week and a half before preview. You can also join the fun on the new Pinterest page we made for this collection:

Thank you for following along — this promises to be very fun!

Our latest pattern — Check!

Hello all!

As a late Valentine’s day present, we’re very happy to announce we have finally published one of our most asked-after patterns: Check!

Check cover V2

This little frock works up pretty quick for a couture dress; it features a dropped waist, fun ‘vaulted’ design lines on the bodice, and precious little pleated sleeve caps.

It’s also a versatile style — make it up in something sparkly or shiny as a special ‘night on the town’ frock, or use cotton like the example above, and pair it with tights and a cardigan for an everyday look. And, just think how easily it would translate to color-blocking!

Thank you all for your patience as we worked to get this out. We’re so happy to finally see it in production! Let us know if you make this — we’d love to see pictures of your versions. There is just so much room for creativity with this style…

Now, off to keep working on the spring line (more on that coming soon!)
